Resources for Women

Dear Friends for Life,

             Can you believe 2004 is coming to an end? It has been a year of blessing and many changes at Resources for Women. One of those changes is our new location for the center and for Second Blessings Resale Boutique. We are now located at 1801 S. Nova Rd., South Daytona. The center is in Suite 104. Second Blessings is in Suite 105 & 106. We extend an open invitation to you to come by and see the center. We also would like for you to visit the new Resale Boutique. As you probably know, all proceeds from the Resale Boutique go to support the ministry of Resources for Women (and all donations are tax-deductible). Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to come shop with us.

            The Lord has blessed His ministry. In the first 11 months of this year we have had a total of 557 ministry opportunities. Of those, not all of our clients were planning to terminate their pregnancies, but we do know of 11 who were planning to terminate that chose life for their unborn baby. There were 26 professions of faith in 2004! Praise God! That is what Resources for Women is all about– life for pre-born babies and eternal life for their mommies. Resources for Women is also about relationships. Ongoing relationships were built with 308 clients. Titus 2:4 instructs the older women to teach and mentor the younger women. At Resources for Women we take this instruction seriously. Many of the young women who come to us have not had good patterns modeled for them. We develop friendships with our girls and share with them what the Lord has done in our lives. We teach them to be responsible for their choices and instruct them in the ways God would have them to live.

            We would like to take time to thank you for your financial support. Without you, we would not have been able to minister to these precious souls that God has sent our way. Thank you and God bless you for blessing His ministry.

            In closing, our Winter Bottle Boomerang goes into full swing in January.
